A little Christmas side project 🎄

I like Christmas. I like building things. And, perhaps more than I should admit, I like a good Christmas jumper.

So I built Super Simple Secret Santa.

It's a free little tool for organising Secret Santa without spreadsheets, bits of paper in hats, or someone accidentally finding out who's buying for whom.

No subscriptions, no grand business plan. Just something useful that I hope makes organising Christmas a little easier.

If it saves you ten minutes of faffing about, I'll consider that a success.

What it actually does

Add the people taking part, set any exclusions (couples or housemates who shouldn't draw each other, say), then draw names. Everyone gets their match by email. Nobody except the organiser needs an account, and once the draw's done, even the organiser can't see who's got who.

It's a hobby project, not a company

There's no business behind this, no team, no funding round. It's one developer, a free tool, and a soft spot for Christmas. See Privacy for exactly what data the app holds onto and why.
